TPC Avenel is located in Potomac, Maryland and was designed
by Ed Ault and Tom Clark. The PGA Tour player consultant
on the design was Ed Snead. The TPC Avenel annually
hosts the Kemper Open on the PGA Tour and is consistently
one of the players' favorite courses. Beyond the beauty
of the design, the main feature that sets it apart is
the variety it presents the player. The rolling terrain
meanders through tree lined areas to valleys and skirts
numerous creeks and ponds. It was a great pleasure working
with Shawn Drake on the TPC Avenel and I truly hope
you enjoy the course.
